The International Dyslexia Association has designated October as Dyslexia Awareness Month. Find out more about this language-based learning disability, which affects up to 20 percent of the U.S. population. The NCBIDA invites you to attend one or more of these informational events.

School Savvy: Helping Dyslexic Students Thrive
A workshop about student accommodations, featuring a student panel and an educator panel.

Simulation: Put Yourself in the Shoes of a Person with Dyslexia
A simulation designed to increase awareness of the difficulties that people with dyslexia encounter daily.
