Help Us Support Scholarships for Teachers

By now all of you should have received our Summer 2006 NCBIDA Scholarships for Teachers appeal letter. By making a tax deductible donation to this fund, you can help teachers acquire a valuable teaching tool-multisensory structured language instruction (MSLI). Teachers trained in MSLI approaches can help struggling students achieve heightened success in reading, writing and spelling. Your contribution, large or small, will help us to ensure that deserving, committed teachers can attend these intensive summer offerings within our geographical area.

The number of scholarships that we will be able to award for 2006 teacher training depends on your commitment and generosity. Please look at the testimonials in the last issue of our newsletter to see how enthusiastically last summer's participants responded to these training programs.

You may send a check, payable to NCBIDA Scholarships for Teachers, or credit card authorization information to us at our address: NCBIDA, 505 Beach Street, Suite 130 San Francisco, CA 94133. If you prefer, you may request a formal appeal letter and reply envelope by contacting our office at (650) 328-7667 or e-mailing us at office@dyslexia-ncbida.org. Remember that your donation to our 501 (c) 3 organization is tax-deductible. If you have further questions, please call Andrea Shuel at (415) 568-3676. Be assured that children, teachers and parents will thank you for years to come for your generous gift.
